HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist
Isabelle qualified from University College London in 2011 with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology having previously completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and then worked for 3 years as an Assistant Psychologist across different services. After qualifying, Isabelle worked for 8 years at the world-renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, gaining a wealth of experience supporting the psychological care of people living with persistent pain, rheumatological conditions and limb loss. After this, Isabelle worked for 2 years supporting young people and adults living with Type 1 diabetes mellitus. She then moved into the fast-developing area of Long COVID where she led on the psychological and neuropsychological care of people living with Long COVID. Isabelle started her own private practice, Thrive Psychology Bucks, in 2020 to build on her passion for implementing evidence-based psychological interventions to support people to live well with pain and physical health problems.
Isabelle is calm, warm, and friendly and aims to help all her patients feel at ease when with her. She enjoys building a close, collaborative relationship with her patients to help them to do more of what matters to them.
In her spare time, Isabelle loves playing sports (tennis and cricket are her current favourites), any form of card / board game (providing they are not too cognitively challenging!) and relaxing with family and friends.
