Lisa, a BSc Hons Physiotherapy graduate from Liverpool University in 2007, has built a wealth of experience working in both the UK and Australia across private healthcare and the NHS. Since 2009, she has been a Senior Physiotherapist, expertly managing a wide range of acute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Lisa is also skilled in post-operative rehabilitation, with significant expertise in supporting recovery after mastectomy surgery. Her contributions to clinical trials have helped shape effective treatments for this patient group.
An acupuncture practitioner, Lisa incorporates this technique to address musculoskeletal issues, menopausal symptoms, and breast cancer-related challenges. She has expanded her expertise through advanced training in back pain, foot and ankle care, and mobilisation techniques.
Lisa’s areas of special interest include foot and ankle rehabilitation and ACL recovery. Her treatment style is dynamic and tailored, blending manual therapy, electrotherapy, soft tissue techniques, pain education, and myofascial release. She excels in creating personalised exercise programmes to help patients achieve their goals, whether improving fitness, returning to work, or getting back to sport.
Beyond her profession, Lisa captains and plays in competitive badminton teams, combining her passion for fitness with her knowledge of the physical demands of racket sports. A keen runner, she has completed the Edinburgh Marathon and remains dedicated to staying active.
